Cooking pilaf rice

In a sauté pan, heat a tablespoon of olive oil. Add the rice grains and sauté for 3 to 4 minutes. The rice will become pearly. Salt and pepper and pour 1.5 times the volume of rice in poultry or vegetable broth.
Bring to a boil before covering the sauté pan and lowering the heat. Continue cooking for 15 to 20 minutes. For more flavor, add onions and chopped tomatoes at the start of cooking.
Cooking rice in the microwave
Very simple and practical, cooking in the microwave will allow you to enjoy a nice plate of rice easily. Take a measuring glass and measure a dose of rice. Pour it into a glass dish. Wet with 2 doses of water.
Cover and microwave at 750 watts for 10 minutes. Take out the dish, mix the rice with a fork and check its doneness. Bake again for 2 minutes if you find that the rice is still too firm. Season and flavor as you wish before tasting.
